CAPIA Argentine Chamber of Poultry Producers, founded on July 4, 1962 and adhered to ALA (Latin American Association of Poultry Farming), is a non-profit business association that acts in defense of national poultry production. Poultry farmers or businessmen who identify with the primary objective of the institution are members of the Entity.
CAPIA serves the interests of egg-producing poultry farmers, independent and integrated feeders, egg industrialists, planters, incubators and poultry ranchers. However, CAPIA does not serve the interests of slaughterers who are represented by another association. There are no limitations on membership and only the commitment to pay a social fee that allows the operation of the Chamber is required. In its Board of Directors, egg producers, egg manufacturers, planters and ranch producers from all areas of the country and from different production volumes (from 2,000 to 1,500,000 birds) are represented.
